We launched Beautiful Life Studios in 2013 with a simple goal: get inspired, create beautiful art, and build a community we loved.
It worked. We went from 0 to over 100 weddings in a single year, built an exceptional portfolio, served thousands of clients, and eventually opened a second studio in Vancouver.
But success came with a cost. Over time, focus shifted away from the work we loved toward everything else: systems, marketing, sales, editing backlogs, workflow. The ambition started to erode.
Looking back, we know we would have gone further, faster, and enjoyed the ride a lot more with the right partner beside us.
So we hired employees and freelancers. Many of them were genuinely exceptional. But something was always missing: that spark. The entrepreneurial drive that makes you show up fully because you are building something of your own.
That realization became a new purpose: find talented, ambitious artists and give them everything we spent a decade building. Help them achieve more than we did, in less time.
